Universitywide policies set the rules that apply across all Âé¶¹AV organizations. Use these search and filter tools to find policies by category, topic or keyword.

Please note that, in addition to universitywide policies, campuses or units may also have local policies or procedures that apply to specific topics or situations.

Policy Hierarchy

In case of any conflict between the Collected Rules and Regulations, UM System policies and campus specific policies, the Collected Rules and Regulations shall be deemed controlling in all circumstances, while UM System policies take precedence over campus policies. This means that while campuses may develop additional policies, formally identify campus-specific procedures and expand upon current policies, they may not exceed the authority contained in the UM System policies and procedures.
